Your Parish Council

 Sandra Richards
Chairman
My parents moved to Hadlow Down 28 years ago and I have used it as a 'base' since that time despite working and travelling abroad a lot of the time. I have now lived here permanently since 2004. I work locally as a self-employed consultant as well as volunteering as a Debt Advisor at the Citizens Advice Bureau.

I was born and bred in the local area and my family still farm here. I am committed to environmental and sustainability issues. I run an organic Sussex beef herd which you can see next to the Playing Field. I am married with 2 children. I am committed to supporting local people and have a strong interest in conserving our rural village atmosphere.

 Damon Wellman
I was born in London but have now lived in the village for over 30 years and started my primary school life at St Mark's and then on to Beacon Secondary in Crowborough.  I have several horses and am definitely an animal caring person, I volunteer when I can at the local animal charity The Kit Wilson Trust. I am very keen to maintain a tranquil environment in the countryside and help protect village life and the quality that we all enjoy in Hadlow Down.

I have lived in Hadlow Down for three years now having moved down from South London.  Having recently retired from the London Five Brigade after 31 years service.  I am currently establishing my own consultancy as well as trying to enjoy life in the country and play a bit more golf.  I value highly the local community and atmosphere and am extremely keen to preserve it.

 Julian Michaelson-Yeates
I have lived in Hadlow Down with my wife since 1997.  Our 3 children all attended St Mark's in their time although they have now moved on to other schools and university.  At various times I have been actively involved in the Church serving on the PCC, a school Governor for St. Marks as well the Village Fayre and Playing Field committees.  I love living here and I'm very keen to continue to build and maintain a strong and vibrant community.

  Helen Bonnick
I have lived in Hadlow Down for over 10 years.  My 3 children attended St. Mark's School.  I was Chair of Governors at the school for a good number of years.  I know that to keep the village moving forward it is important to get involved, that is why I am involved in the Parish Council.
